What Is The Difference Between Square and PayPal?
Square and PayPal are two of the most popular processing platforms used by small businesses. While both will accept payments and are recommended for secure transactions, Square distinguishes itself from the competition not only from its bespoke and sleek hardware offerings (Zettle by PayPal, their own terminal service is not available in Australia), but also with its comprehensive business tools such as employee management and appointment scheduling. Square can also help with a full suite of products to help businesses from Loans to Marketing, Loyalty, Gift Cards, and more. Essentially, while both are fantastic options for ecommerce, Square is a better option for businesses that focus on in-person transactions.
